I am on Gen5 and I can only watch YouTube at 144p. My daughter has a different company and her max speed allowance is 2Mb/s and she can watch YouTube at at least 360p and Netflix at the same time. I currently have 98% of my data remaining. I called HughesNet twice and those people can't seem to figure out what is going on. They ran all kinds of tests from their end and they said everything looks good. Yeah, that's why I went to testmy and got an 8.1Mbps download. It still should be better than my daugher's. I would get rid of HughesNet in a heartbeat if there was another company to go to out where I live. A Dish Network tech told me they are going to start putting up towers for Internet here in Indiana with 25Mbps speeds and unlimited access. I'm going to be the first in line!

Just checking in as I see the technician came by for the repair last week. Have you seen any improvement in the service performance?
