My husband and I are both tech-savvy people. We ordered Hughesnet Voice. We have been trying to activate the ATA all day. I've called customer service twice. Both times I was asked to power-cycle everything, which I did. I was even instructed to hold the reset button on the back of the ATA for 5 seconds, which I also did. The problem is that the power LED light continues to blink and does not stop. I realize that the fast blinking indicates that it is writing the firmware to the flash. It blinks for hours without stopping. Also, the Phone 1 LED indicator light does not light up. It will blink if I take the phone off the hook. I have a dial tone every time I reboot, but dialing outside or calling the line does not work. The account is still not activated. Either the hardware (Cisco SPA-122 RC) is damaged or there is some issue that needs to be resolved on the Hughesnet Voice end. Please help. This is becoming extremely frustrating, since we have worked on this for seven hours. I am at the point of canceling the service, but I really wanted to try it because I have heard good things. My SAN number is DSS32034903. And the MAC address to the ATA is 188B45AC584E. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
