HughesNet Fusions plans combine satellite and wireless technologies to deliver a high-speed, lower-latency, reliable Internet experience. Service feels faster and more responsive than on a satellite-only plan, especially while watching videos, conferencing and possibly using a VPN. The type of technology has no effect on your own personal data management. It is possible that because the service works a bit better, you are consuming more without realizing.
