old emails

setting up new macpro with my hughes,net email.It is down loading all my deleted mail back 2 years. Called apple they said it is a server problem. Also yesterday all my email stopped on my iphone. At this rate it will take a month to get my current mail on my mac.

Thanks for posting and welcome. There is probably a setting you can change in the email application which sets how far back to sync. You should be able to stop the process and redo it. For your iPhone, have you checked to make sure the app is updated? Or even the iOS version you are using? Hope to hear from you soon.
