Very very slow speeds and internet was down around...

The first time the internet went down it lasted for almost 2 hours, the second time it went down was a few hours after that and it lasted for about 15 minutes or so... and then it did it again for almost an hour... and then It did it again for a couple of minutes??   Also my internet is extremely slow, many times if my husband is reading an email and I'm trying to watch a YouTube video the YouTube video won't even load and I have tried changing the channels through the service page given, I have turned off the modem for up to 5 minutes and reset the TV as well but nothing seems to be working? I'm paying a lot of money for something that hardly works? ... View more
