I had 8.1 before I went to 10. Nothing wrong with 8.1 I liked it but I do like 10 better. Problem is the support for 8.1 will end January 9, 2018 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/gp/lifecycle-windows81-faq Windows 10 will be a constant upgrade and all for free if they do it now. It will probably take hours but in the long run it will be worth it. If I remember correctly there is a way you can burn it to a disk or thumb drive and install it for them saving lots of time. Just a little FYI Today, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 is now running on 300 million active devices, up from 270 million monthly active devices as of March 30. They also announced today that Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 (as well as Windows 8) users with a valid license wouldn't be eligible for the free upgrade starting June 29. After July 29th 2016, Microsoft says, users will be able to continue to get Windows 10 on a new device, or purchase a full version of Windows 10 Home for $119. My experience has been that you can't pay your bill early online. I've tried and had the same experience. This is one of several reasons I went to paper billing. as for alice's issue: As the damage from the leaky roof is still there, I would certainly still care about the leak if I was in alice's position. When Alice decided to stick her nose into my life and publish stuff from my Facebook page she crossed the line and if this gets me booted from this forum so be it. Alice crossed the line and I for one am tired of people telling me I'm wrong because I will not kiss butt when I'm confronted by some lonely individual who has nothing better to do than whine more when she was given help. Frankly I'm sick of individuals that want to do nothing but whine and complain. Alice should be thanking Liz not whining because the installer "THOUGHT" the mount wasn't the cause of the leak. Who cares, it's been fixed. Is Alice that lonely that she has to push the issue. First of all Liz has no control over the leak. If Alice wants to push the issue it's between her and the installer. So the roof mount was taken down (at no cost to her BTW) the leak has been fixed. What is her complaint now? It's been fixed. DROP IT! MOVE ON. Get a life. Talk about ungrateful. Liz did her a favor. Anyone else would have had to get the thing down themselves. And then not only did the radio come down, Liz had the entire mount taken down and patched. Any time you put holes in a roof you take certain risks He did not think the dish was causing the leak. Well it is kinda funny that today it is raining, and since he sealed it so well yesterday, it is not leaking today at all. So I am sorry but that would tell me that is WAS the dish causing the leak. He didn't think it was the dish causing the leak.... SO WHAT?! It's fixed. What's your point? No good deed ever goes unpunished. So what does she want now? A pint of blood, a pound of flesh, 30 pieces of silver?
