I'm a long time hughes customer and just went to Gen 5. Modem/router - Hughes HT2000W. Wireless connection works fine for two win10 computers and two android phones. However, my HP Officejet Pro 8500A will not connect. It see's the router, but will not connect either with using the password or pressing the WPS switch on the Huges Modem/router. My question - is there a limit to the number of wireless devices that can connect to the Hughes HT2000W ? Thanks

Thanks for the detailed response. But the problem is that when you use up your allowance, the connection is so throttled I often can't even reach step one.

You can't stream anything on Hughes. I don't even try. Are you kidding? I know it has it's limitations, but I would like to be able to visit a message board or email with out it going down. It shuts down when trying to use or buy tokens. I cross my fingers if I want to send a SINGLE picture to someone. Gabe, the only thing worse is dial up. And the BS that a previous poster noted. Test your system, and get back to us. Right, done that a few dozen times.

It would also be nice if hughes uncapped the ability to purchase or use tokans. 9 times our of 10 it shuts down on me.

This has NOTHING to do with the post update reboot, and everything to do with Win 10 downloading whenever the computer and connection to huges is up. It can't be stopped, and eats up your FAP and effectively shuts you down. I can't even get hughes download manager to schedule an off FAP time to download an update for the Hughes Status meter. It says it will, but doesn't, or can't. This is on two different machines. One preloaded with win10 and the other that came loaded with it. Also, don't have the ability to purchase or use existing tokans. It times out. That's been an ongoing problem for years. The only reason I can post this comment is because I also have a Verizon wifi.
