I have scanned in the mailed brochure and will see if it will let me attach it here for reference. No where in this Gen 4 brochure (even in the fine print) does it mention that this service is ONLY available within the footprint of the Echostar 17 sat. If you are not in the footprint of any of those spotbeams you are limited to older slower service only. Looking it up after the fact I found that this sat is generally available east of the Mississippi and limited populous areas of the west coast. NONE of Arizona is included in any of the spotbeam coverage for the Gen 4 service. A fact that the sales agent should have known and disclosed to me as he says he is based in the Phoenix metro area and visits Hawley Lake in the White Mountains near my location. https://satellitecoverage.net/echostar-17-coverage-maps-footprints/ Digging into full disclosures posted on Hughes website i found this excerpt. The listed speeds for certain Gen4 Service Plans (Select 100, Select 200, Select 300, and Select 400), are only available in the footprint of the EchoStar XVII Satellite. EchoStar XVII service is generally available in areas east of the Mississippi River and in populated areas of the West Coast. For areas not covered by the EchoStar XVII Satellite and the Gen4 Service Plans, alternative Service Plans will be offered. Had this been disclosed before I approved the order I would not have gone with this service. The HughesNet Voice services touted in the brochure are impossible on the service that I am actually receiving. The latency and speed will not sustain a VoIP connection at all. I will update everyone if I am ever contacted and offered a reasonable solution as I haven't heard anything back from the folks Liz says she provided my case to. Andy
