As I am in the process of setting up my Hughesnet system, I was going to connect my printer directly to my Hughesnet modem as I have always done. As the data is only transmitted from the computer to the printer, sattellite data usuage should not be affected. It is suprising what the sales reps fail to disclouse. I will keep the group informed, luckily my grandson and good friend are network specialist and thereis always a work around. Erny
