I have been a Hughes Net customer for over two years and work out of my home doing AutoCAD drawings, downloading and uploading out of a cloud. I used to work, listen to streaming audio from Pandora and never used 30GB a month. I never download movies and rarely stream videos from Youtube. I only had to be careful when I had to download programs or updates for Windows. Now I have 50GB and use most of my data up in a week, I quit streaming music, shut down automatic updates and only use the internet to work out of the cloud. I called customer service they were no help at all, they told me that the automatic updates were eating up all of the data. I have tried everything and now HughesNet is about worthless to me, if I could get broadband over the phone line, I would do it. I don't know what to do now, I have tried everything, Hoping Exceed or the phone company comes up with something better.
