Phone tech told me my receiver, dish, and line of sight all might be giving me problems with my internet speed. He then told me it will cost me $175 for a tech to come out and fix anything. I have been a customer for 10 years. I pay more money then anyone I know for slower internet with the least data allowance. How can Hughesnet possible think its ok to charge me to fix their broken equipment. I pay for working internet. If Hughesnets equipment isnt providing me with the best service possible, that should 100% be on Hughesnet to come fix for free. I would cancel my subscription in a second but I live in the country and nobody else provides internet at my house... So Im stuck but Im still not paying $175 for a tech to come out here. They must be crazy if they think that!?!?!?
