I had equipment failure on my Gen 4. They talked me in to upgrading to Gen 5. After upgrading they said I had to regiter the new account on myhughesnet. It wouldn't let me. They then told me it was because I didn't cancel the old account. They canceled it for me. Told me I would be able to register it after july 31st. I tried all through August and just gave up. This past Friday my email stopped working. I contacted them and was told they can register it for me and they did. Then they tell me the email is not working because I canceled my account and that email can never be used again. The nice lady also told me I didn't have to cancel the old account. They told me wrong the first time.
