I've seen posts similar to this, but since I am not clear on what the solution was, I am desparate for help! We've had HughesNet for going on 6 years or more with a 20+ year old AOL e-mail address. Never trouble until about 10 days ago. I was out of town and my husband called to tell me he couldn't open his email. It acts as if it is opening, then after a few minutes "times out." We have reset the system by total shutdown and waiting to reconnect each device. I have spent hours changing settings and trying every other solution I could Google to no avail. We run our own business with e-mail as a vital part of communicating with clients. Running Safari IOS, same for more than a year now on a fairly new Macbook Pro. I can get my email via my phone, using cell data, not Hughesnet. I can also take our laptop to any location with free wifi and instantly access our e-mail that way, so it has been narrowed down to a definite HUGHESNET problem. I am moderately computer literate, my husband is barely computer literate (still using a flip phone) and this is causing major frustration in our household as well as our business!! PLEASE HELP!
