Data Plan upgrade delays
On Dec. 13th I clicked "Change Plan" to upgrade from 15 GB to 50GB plan. I did this after I called to confirm that this would NOT require a new "commitment" as we are done our 2 year commitment. I called again on Dec. 16th because the web account showed the new plan in billing but not in Data Usage. I was told that the upgrade was being "escalated" to the next level. I got numerous e-mails confirming the account change. Now it is Dec. 18th and Data usage still shows the 15GB. Please help.76Views0likes9CommentsQuestion about Fusion Service
Hi there, A bit new to the community so not sure where to post this. When we signed up one of the sales reps mentioned that there is an option to try Fusion for a certain amount of time (30 days) and then if it doesn't work for you then a downgrade is possible without losting the promo rate. When I spoke with the fusion department they said that I would need to start over my entire 24 month commitment if they honored the trial offer and did a self install of the fusion gateway. Is there any way to test fusion for a month to see if it works for me since we were on a CAFII plan before but got swapped to a new Jupiter 3 setup so don't really want to do a brand new contract when we just started with a new setup.1.3KViews0likes10CommentsUpgrade charge is ridiculous!!
I have been a customer for several years now. And that's because Hughes Net is my only choice where I live right now. I called to upgrade my service to the new "BETTER JUPITER SERVICE" and was told it would cost me $300 for the upgrade. That's for a tech to come out and put a new dish on my house and a new modem inside. I asked if there was way to get the free installation like they advertised for a new customer. Nope! Not for a loyal existing customer. $300!!! I could cancel my service when the contract is over and then come back as a new customer to get the free installation.
