Advertised Special Confusion
Here is the section of the add. I went to the godish.com/internet website and put in 5 different addresses in Dallas, Ennis, Ft. Worth, Corsicana and Allen and no one seems to be getting that $39.99 price for service according the results. I am curios to which part of the country you must live in to get the discount?
Here's the confusion: If you look closely at the ad, it doesn't specify who your provider will be. It just lumps a bunch of logos together: HughesNet, ATT, Xfinity, Frontier, Cox and CenturyLink, adding "plus other nationwide providers". All the specs they mention is basically a mashup of everyone's claims, when in fact they say they will find the best bundle available. Note that the disclaimer says "discount offers varies by service address", so I'm sure $39.99 is the maximum discount possible, if available at all.
I'm willing to bet the HN people hate bundle ads like this because it ultimately makes them look like liars, when Dish is the one being deceptive (like most resellers).
