I'm a Installer. I can help you little bit. I can't help you on pricing. Currently, The HT1100 modem will not work on Gen5. At the end of the year they are supposed to offer Gen5 plans on your current system. The HT2000W modems WIFI can be disabled. And you can use your own. Hope this helps a little.

Just a few things to throw out there...
You can upgrade to Gen5 service plans on the HT1100 in the future, however, you will be stuck on Jupiter One, as the HT1100 is NOT Jupiter II compatible.
The benefits of getting the HT2000w is being able to be pointed at Jupiter II or Jupiter One, as well as having wifi, it also has more RAM than the HT1100 and from my perspective is far beefier. I personally at this point, don't see the reason in disabling the HT2000w wifi unless you have a method of measuring traffic on your network through your current wifi router. The HT2000w wifi is very similar in performance to a Netgear Nighthawk. At about 75 foot from both devices, I saw very similar signal strengths between both units. The Scott Home 5Ghz band was only stronger because I had increased the output power in the firmware since I had a few dead spots. This is going through multiple walls.
