What's the difference between the fb group and these forums? Why post/participate in one versus the other? One advantage to this forum is the presence and participation of hughesnet reps who can actually fix problems for you.

That's correct. The Gen5 Facbook Group we created was not intended to be a duplicate or replacement for the HughesNet Customer Support Forum here, and it can't offer the same level of service or support. It's primarily a discussion group with it's own interests and rules, specific to Gen5 only, and doesn't cover other HughesNet products or services.
It's also not run by, or supported by, HughesNet.
It was a great idea, funny enough I found that group before this one. Thanks!
