Reggie, did you try just the zip code?
Never mind, it doesn't like just the zip.
Maybe Amanda or Liz have a different link that works.
Pete_Vit wrote:I currently have GEN4 Prime plus plan and have my own Netgear Wireless router, 3 questions;
1) what GEN5 plan would be comperable, data wise to the prime plus plan?
2) can I use my NetGear Router as an extendor if I upgrade to GEN5 + WIFI?
3) what costs are associated with a GEN4 to GEN5 upgrade ?
Thank you
1: Being that thge Prime Plus plan is a 10/50 plan, the equivalent will be the 10/50 plan (the Gen5 plans don't have names).
2: Though I'm not positive of this, I believe it depends on what your Netgear Router is capable of. But, you can use your Netgear router with the HT2000W Gen5 modem the conventional way by connecting it with a LAN cable. That much I'm sure of.
3: The only way you will know this is to call and ask. Every situation is different. You should go to the site, enter your info, and if the service is available to you, you can call the number listed on the site and ask what the cost would be. https://www.hughesnet.com Or, you can call from the start. 844-737-2700
Reggie, here are the plans and should be available wherever Gen 5 is, which is pretty much everywhere in the Continental US, even a chunk of Alaska.
BirdDog , thank you ,that is what I was looking for.
