To help improve service for all of our customers during this unusual time, we are increasing the amount of available capacity across the network and providing more data for users who have exceeded their data plan.

 

You mean all this time you've been artificially capping the capacity, so we've been running slower and more clogged than we needed to be?

All ISPs keep a small amount of their capacity in reserve.  

 

The impact will likely be minimal, as ~325Gbps is still pretty small for ~1.2 million customers, of whom an ever increasing number are online at any given time.
