Upgrading to Gen5 is not the problem. The problem lies with Hughes as when the "NEW" status meter was upgraded ,the status meter will crash when you have a power loss and computer on. Just a bit of information,the meter is susceptible to power fail when computer is running. Deleted the  config file finally, took awhile to find it. Then went to program downloaded file and clicked on the main download file and finally the icon started to work without redownloading the whole program. Thanks. one final question why did the "old" version work just fine with the power crashing the computer and would come back up with the Status Meter intact and working?? New one crashes at the slightes hicup and hear we go again?? ... View more

Here we go AGAIN ! Yesterday we had a power  loss on and off . The hughes meter CRASHED AGAIN withall the script error messages .Now it had been running just fine after jumping throught the hoops with all the delete and re-install. Now it seems obvious that the program is unstable to power surges as will cash it to crash , so the question is now that i am trying to tell Hughes  "THEY" need to research why the update Status meter crashes with power  fluctuation . ... Many thanks ,found the apps file listing the Hughes Net Usage Meter ,deleted it. Deleted all other files and re downloaded it and now works as advertised ! Thx again! ... View more

Went to Gmail and disabled imap they say you cannot use both at the same time. Back to Outlook and ran repair,NO ERRORS this time Started to receive emails so Hughes must have done something. You can have an Higher Tech call me and i can tell him what my settings are in Account mode. My brain is fried trying every combination,Your regular tech was no help other than confuse me being 70 yrs old. If Hughes fixed the problem working with Gmail Thanks. ... View more
