@Remy  Yesterday afternoon. just after lunch, I performed another Power Cycle Reboot and it seemed to have worked as all of the previous connectivity issues I was having now appear to be completely resolved. I'm not showing any limited gateway / packet losses, and I have green check marks showing in the uplink sections from the time I did the reboot.   I called the technician this morning and cancelled the appointment we had scheduled for tomorrow as everything is now back to working on my end, but if the issues should arise again I'll be sure to come back and let you know. That sounds unfortunate, our best recommendation is to speak with your landlord/HOA about compensating you for the inconvenience or double-checking the FCC OTARD to see if the landlords guidelines are valid. Still not able to attend to this much, due to full blown baseball season as well as some family stuff (nothing bad, just extremely busy) but for the sake of maintaining documentation and stats, here are the current data stats.     I have to note that the initial very steep drop is, in part, due to a video I was uploading from my phone to FB, while using the wifi connection.  Not something I normally do, but it was a video of my son's first flying lesson and mobile data wasn't having it.  Come to find out, Wifi wasn't having it either and it chewed up a good bit of data.  He took his flight on May 9th, and I attempted to upload the video on the 9th and 10th. Though on the 10th, it was using Bonus data.     Regardless, even if we take that approx 1 GB into consideration, HN...these repeated data graphs, showing these significant drop offs from the first or second week to the rest of the month, are ridiculous.  There is CLEARLY a problem here.  Month after month after month.  I'm down to 2.3 GB of Anytime data with almost half of May left to go.     Combined data usage, so far, according to HN, is nearly 11.5 GB.  GW shows 6.3 for the month of May.  Factor in the GB from my phone's video.  And maybe another 1-2 GB for tablet use for the kids' Prodigy game and uploading a couple of e-books.     When baseball season ends, and following a visit from family in early July, I hope to sit down and fully address this again.  In the meantime, I will keep stats updated.     ... I am a user of the metered connection hack to control the timing of my update downloads.  Please be aware that Microsoft Office updates won't happen when you have metered connection set.  Office detects that updates are available and reminds you of that fact.  However, when you go through the series of prompts to actually get the update to download the download will silently fail.  This is despite the fact that it detects you have 'metered connection' set and verifies that you would like to override it for the purpose of the download.  I found that in order to get the update I needed to temporarily disable the metered connection setting.  I spent quite a number of cycles trying to figure out why the Office update would not complete.  ... @LSC   Linda,    Though I have no doubt that you are very frustrated, I recommend starting a new topic in the Tech Support section for the service issues you have been experiencing and a new topic in the myAccount and Billing section for the billing issue you've had.  The reps here are corporate based reps, unlike the phone reps.  You'll get help here.  The reps are on M-F from approximately 8AM to 5PM EST, so if you create those two new posts they won't be replied to by a rep until at least Monday.  Normally I wouldn't recommend starting two different topics, but you have two very different issues going on, so you should probably do so.   Regarding your billing, when an invoice is created and payment is automatically charged it's for the current month.  As an example, my last invoice was created on the 3/4, and the billing on that invoice is for the service period of 3/4 through 4/4, so when you pay you're paying for the current month, not the previous month.  When you are on automatic billing the new invoice is charged the day it's created, which in my case was 3/4.  If you are on manual payment you have however many days are stipulated to make the payment.  I hope this info helps.     When you were put on automatic payment, might the current month, which you would have manually paid later, been what was automatically charged?  I'd sign into the myAccount site and check your billing info to see if this is the case.  If your balance is zero this is probably what happened.  If this doesn't explain it, by all means, please create the new topic and a rep will help you.  The myAccount site is here...  http://my.hughesnet.com/myaccount   To start a new Tech Support topic... https://community.hughesnet.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/TechSupport   To start a new Billing topic...  https://community.hughesnet.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/AccountandBilling ...
