Re: Double data tokens until 11/30/21 EricBwrote: Got an email that you can buy tokens until the end of November and get double for the price. Just logged in and purchased an additional 25GB hoping it would give me 50. Nope. Only got the 25. I was pretty excited but now I'm depressed. Be patient it will get there. It is what happens to me receiving data promotions. Re: ETF Cost Question maratsadewrote: n/c huh? I see you modified to n/c what does that mean? Edit: I did look it up and look atN/C - What does N/C stand for? The Free Dictionary it means alot of thing and which definition are you referring to? Re: Return Kit Request GabeUwrote: Even further, the return kit is sent around the time that the service is actually terminated, not when you call to cancel. When you call to cancel the service will remain on until the last day in the current monthly cycle. For instance, if your service month is the 5th through the 4th, and you called on the 9th to cancel, the service would remain on until the 4th of the following month, at which time the service would terminate and they would then send the return kit. You also have the option to request an immediate cancellation, meaning the service would terminate immediately and within a day or two the return kit would be sent. If you're going to be at the new address by the time the return kit is sent, my advice would be to give them the address of the new location so that they can send the return kit to that address, and make sure to take the radio, modem and power pack for the modem to that new address so you'll have it to pack in the return kit when you receive it there. The instructions for removing the radio are here. They'll also be included in the return kit. Finally thanks for better understanding about this.. Re: Return Kit Request maratsadewrote: The return kit is sent to you after you cancel your account. As soon as you do that, they will ship the kit. it sound like you want me to wait until we move and that does not make sense because we are no longer here when we move. How can we return it while we don't have the return kit? Well I was doing what I was asked to do and you keep on not listening. My father will call on Monday. Return Kit Request Liz I request you to send us the return kit we are planning to move back to Jacksonville on December 17 that I should still have service until December 17. Thank you. Re: ETF Cost Question it is what I said but you didn't answer my question and again it is near to 12-28-21. The last month is until 01-28-22 but ok I'll have my dad or my friend contact you for me when that happens.. Re: ETF Cost Question I just wanted to update you guys we have found a house and getting Comcast back when we move to there on 12-17-2021 that we are planning to cancel Hughesnet the ETF would be 100 but it is near to next billing month is it 100 or 85? Re: ETF Cost Question GabeUwrote: Ryan11433wrote: GabeUwrote: Ryan11433 If you do end up wanting HughesNet at your new location, they do offer a moving service, where you take just the modem and power pack with you and they install a dish at the new location. https://www.hughesnet.com/moving Well I have thought something Hughesnet is only recommended in rural areas... The primary reason for that recommendation is just that ground based alternatives, like cable, fiber or even cell tower based, don't tend to be available in rural areas, or at least not in a very reliable way when speaking of cell based. Satellite internet is, more or less, an internet of last resort. It's the one that you can still get when there are no other options. It's about availability. HughesNet will work anywhere there's an unobstructed view to the satellite in the southern sky, whether that's in the middle of nowhere or a denselypopulated neighborhood of a big city. With all of this said, my recommendation would be to look into ground based service if it's available at the new location. If it's not, HughesNet always is. it is werid about this because before I moved to here back in June 2019 Comcast lookup did say it is available here but it really is not that I have learned after moving to here. That is why I choose Hughesnet and do not believe with what I look up on Internet.
