Horrible Internet; Unhelpful Customer Service

Had service installed a week and a half ago, and this is by far the sorriest excuse for internet service that I've ever experienced!  It's completely unusable for anything other than checking your email.  Customer service doesn't care, they just want to make sure you know about the Early Termination Fee.  Will definitely be telling EVERYONE I know to AVOID THIS SERVICE!!! I refuse to pay for something that doesn't work.

    Without adequate troubleshooting, any Early Termination Fee charged during cancellation or service termination due to lack of payment would and will be valid.  

     

    This is a support community, not social media, so if you're having an issue with the service I suggest starting a new topic in Tech Support to begin the process of troubleshooting it.

      If I could give hughsnet a zero star I would! They miss informed me when purchasing the service, and I have spent hours upon hours trying to get things fixed. Nothing ever gets done I just get sent to someone else who then repeats what I've already heard refusing to do anything. I even got a call back saying because I was lied to they would work on canceling my service for free! Awesome right? No, I was working so set a call back for the next morning, and the new person had no idea what the first person was talking about. Now I am so frustrated I will cancel as soon as possible. I will also plaster everywhere possible for people to avoid hughsnet dishonest, shady, disrespectful, unhelpful, and horrifyingly bad customer service.

        See it from customer service's point of view: they deal all day with rude, abusive, uncouth people who can't even complain intelligently and who all they seem to know how to do is rant and whine without one iota of  human courtesy.   Maybe if those losers who call into customer service changed their attitude, they'd get a better response. Just because someone works in customer service doesn't mean customers can abuse them.

    i agree, the worst internet and customer support ever our $10 dial up was better then this crap

        won't do any good, this internet  sucks and it looks like everyone who has it thinks so as well it is sooooooo slowwwwwww
