Credit card scam - Hughesnet Community

Received an email from a site that looked like hughes net official site saying my account had not been paid and wanted account (CREDIT CARD) information. Called Hughes net and found no email was sent and account was up to date. Watch for this scam.

Thanks for the heads up. Phishing for credit card and passwords are indeed on the rise.

First time I've seen the word 'scam' on the site that was accurate. 👍🏼

Thanks for the info. I imagine many would've fallen for this. The account can also be checked right here on the community site.
