setting a low temp alert notification

can someone help me find the link on where i can setup me getting an email if my indoor temp falls to a low setting?

I did it recently, but remember it kind of being clunky on finding it.  Now I can't find it again anywhere?

I imagine the instructions for doing so would be on the manufacturer's site for your thermostat.  

Still, if you can tell us what thermostat you have, someone may be able to give some advice, or at least point you in the direction of where to get it.
