Blocking phone numbers and other divices
Hi I'm new to the community forum. I was on Google trying to figure out how to block someone from my internet and the answer was in one of your answers. I just want to thank you for that. Now maybe this person will move out because she's constantly using all my data w her phone, computer and tv. I also read some post about the $100 rebate. I'm coming up on a year of hughs net and I still haven't received mine. I tried 3 times, followed instructions exactly as they walked me through it and nothing. Hopefully we get it sometime b4 our contracts are up. I'll never use hugsnet again.90Views0likes1CommentVery poor internet service
I had my internet installation done on Friday Sept. 6. My previous service was through CenturyLink and was at 1.5Mbps. CenturyLink did not have any option for me to upgrade and recommended HughesNet. I was told speeds would be up around 40Mbps and only 1 time and during installation has it reached that level. There are many times I get a "No Internet Service" when trying to open my home page. I run speed test often and usually I get from 11-15Mbps but I can't tell the difference between what I had before. For what I'm now paying, I expect more. Is the dish aligned correctly??? Very dissapointed!1.2KViews0likes5CommentsHad a visitor earlier...
What was amazing is that I first saw it as I was walking back to my house from across the street. Even getting as close as about 25 feet, it didn't move. I don't know if it thought acting like a statue would make me not see it, but it was perfectly still. Even when I opened the window in my house to take the pic, which it surely heard, it still didn't move. I keep forgetting to turn off the scene optimizer on my S23, so the pic looks a little funny.1.7KViews1like5CommentsSPAM Concern
Anyone else seeing an uptake in spam to their hughesnet email address? It has been absolutely crazy the past few days. Over 50 spam emails just yesterday. It isn't even noon today and over 30. I understand I made a mistake years ago getting started with a hughesnet email address and plan to start the long process of switching to something else because real high-speed fiber is coming to my area next year. But it seems that Hughesnet is doing nothing to stop spam. I even get spam from hughesnet email addresses!!!!3.4KViews0likes6Comments- 3.1KViews2likes5Comments

I have too many devices connected to my HT2000 router and need comments on this approach. First about half the devices are not necessary unless I am away from home which isnt often. Can I add a router to my HT2000 and connect the rarely used devices to it? I can then power off the router until i need them? If so, what addon router is compatible with the Hughesnet router? thanks OhStop2KViews0likes1Comment
