Thanks for posting! I was able to pull up your account and I see at the time of purchase you opted in to our express repair basic plan for $7.95. This was waived for the fist month most likely per a promotion. You can always remove it from your account, however it is useful.
- Express Repair is a service protection plan designed to ensure that HughesNet service will be restored in an expedited manner in the event that a problem occurs.
Also, instead of paying full price for a tech visit the fee is only $29.95, and is added to your next months bill. You can change what extra services you are subscribed to by logging into the customer support center at
