Why am I paying for a phone landline and number? I already have a landline

I was unable to port my current number as I was advised by Hughesnet that I could do. So now I am paying for two landlines. Can you help me?

I'm glad you found the community, thank you for posting. Can you please elaborate on your concerns? Do you want to cancel your HughesNet Voice service?
