I just wanted to give HughesNet a thumbs up. I am FAP'ed right now. However, it is barely noticeable while surfing around the Internet. I don't know what my speed actually is but it is for sure manageable to still use my system. Great job HughesNet.

Mine is back up now. Not sure what was wrong. I did call and they said they were doing maintence and to call back in 2 hours. Not sure if they were doing maintence on the voice service or not. Anyway I am good to go now.

My phone is not working. I get a message saying "Device not registered wtih service provider". I have unplugged it and then back in. System is still down. Any ideas on what to do before I call the script readers?

I am having trouble getting to a website. www.howardforums.com . Can anyone else get there? I get an error 522 error message with various browsers like... Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, Brave, and Comodo Ice Dragon. Can someone try to get there and post back if you can successfully get there? If so please post some ideas of what I can try to resolve this issue. Thanks, Ricky

I started with the DW6000. I guess it was around 2002 or about that. i have had a good experience since then. Sure I have had a couple hiccups but they were all resolved.

I recently got HughesNet Voice It is for sure worth it to me. I cut my landline years ago. I went with my cell phone and a wireless connection from Verizon. Neither were reliable. My HughesNet is reliable so far. No drops calls for me. There is a small delay in talking. However it is manageable. I say get it.

Gabe, they are indeed coming to my email account. It does not show anywhere, that I have found, that it needs to be activated. I have tried to get it straight from the script readers and nothing sounds to me to get it straight. They just say no worries. That is what they said the 1st time and I got the message again. I will apoligize for any harsh words I posted earlier. Them phone reps will get a guy worked up.

I have received my HughesNet voice box and have activated it for several weeks now. However I keep getting these notices saying I have not activated it and I will be charges for the box. Can someone look into this and get it straightened out. Below is part of the last message I received.

Maybe it was just time for it to dissappear. I did run ccleaner and the next time I tried to access my banking site is was good to go. Either way I am good to go now. Have a great day.

I was less then 5 days past due on my bill so I started getting the past due bill screen I understand why I was getting the message. However it is paid now and I am still getting the screen Any way to get rid of this screen? Maybe a mod can clear this message for me?

My signal strength has dropped 20-30 percent in the recent months. Possible my dish is loose. At least not at optimal strength. Could someone check my system to see if it has been falling in the recent months? I would appreciate it. Ricky

Just ran into this myself a couple days ago. My prepaid card has been accepted for payment from day 1, over 6 or so years. No problems at all until I tried to change my prepaid card type and number. It was another prepaid card but with AMEX not VISA. I want this capability back for sure.

OMG.......I was just thinking about him this morning. Was gonna shoot him a message on Facebook. Gosh, he will surely be missed. His contributions here on this community are great. Give her some time. Amanda is on this and will get back to you. If the sales call is available and they did give you false information you may get out of your contract. I have seen it happen before. While you can stream live video with HughesNet it is not advised. It will eat up your data fast. All depends on what your expectations were.
