I have bee having a lot of trouble with the internet dropping websights. I know I’m on fap but I’ve never had problems like this. I’m in fap every month and I can still use the internet. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.i. Thanks

a windows update--i did a system restore to the week before and it stopped and them i looked again this week cause my data was deleted more than normal and it was back with no update ran. very frustrating!

ran malware nothing wrong also deleted Amazon app off my computer, just trying to understand what is going on. We usually don't have problems with data as we watch it carefully, but this is really burning it up--thanks for your input.

Hi cloudfront.net is showing on my Glasswire suddenly and it is using a lot of data. Can one of you fine people tell me how to get rid of it? I looked on the internet and it says its connected to Amazon. ?? It appeared after an update. You've been a great help in the past and I look forward to your suggestions.

No that is the only Hughes Net email account we have, Like I said we received it fine until all the changes were made, Also Liz, I know this is off topic, but I have noticed that now our internet goes down everytime it rains or storms, It does come back up on its own, but this is also a new problem. Been happening for about a month or two.

Hey Gabe==sure miss not reading your replies to question asked!! I have both, but if its not in my Hughes Net mail it doesn,t come thru my 3rd party account. These last few (emails)have done fine, but i'm more upset about the billing portion than anything. By the time it hits my credit card the reps are reluctant to correct errors that have occured and been paid. I have not received an email statement since they changed everything and last month there was an error.

i hope it works Liz. Since all the changes were made way back when, I have received 3 emails and they were replies last month from a post in the community. I used to get all kinds of inbox mail from the community and really enjoyed reading them as I very often learned from them.

I used to receive my monthly statement in my email account, but have not since everything was changed a few months ago. Since I had a billing error this month, (which was not resolved satisfactorially) I would like to know why it stopped being sent each month.

I have a dlink router that Amanda sent me a few months ago. However Thursday night when it disconnected and I went thru the routine keying in the numbers I got a message to register my router which I did (I know I did this when I connected it up) I went thru the process again, but this time I got an email to validate the registration (which I do not recall getting the first time) Its been working fine so far so looks like problem solved, Thanks for your help.

I do not have voip from Hughes. (I am old and can't part with my landline lol) I checked the cables. The only thing I had different was the computer wire was in outlet 2--I moved it to one as you indicated.

I have to wonder if this isn't the same problem Chicagojohn is having. I also am in Illinois. i can't figure out how to check the numbers you gave me to use, I go to my browser type in the numbers and get a bunch of web pages. I also can't figure out how to put a "snip" picture on these replies as I used to. I apologize as I am really computer challenged. I know I m doing this wrong.

For the last two weeks my internet goes down 1 or 2 times a day. The Hughes Net modem lights (the ones that are lite) are solid. When I reset the modem it comes back up. Is there any way you can check on your end and see if theres a problem with the modem?? Thanks for your help.
