710 Topicsongoing outage southern Idaho
My network went out late last night and hasn't been resolved yet. After a long call with a man who walked me through all possible fixes, he consulted with someone who said there's an ongoing outage un my area and techs are working round the clock til it is resolved. Is anyone else know anything more? I started working from home and this is not allowing that.55Views0likes1CommentEthernet cable slowing down connection
I have a work-issued Dell laptop that I am currently using over WIFI. It's recommended to connect directly to the modem for the fastest speeds, but that is causing the connection to slow down considerably. I have tested the connection several times on WIFI and with an ethernet cable using the speed test recommended by Hughesnet (testmy.net). The difference is a loss of about 20 Mbps on download and 2 on upload with the ethernet connection. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. First, I tried with a Cat 5e cable and then bought a Cat 6, thinking that upgrade would clear up the bottleneck, but it had no effect. Did I get the wrong cable or...? (Cable is Cat6 Patch Cable with RJ45 connectors.) I would appreciate some guidance because I have no idea what to do next.85Views0likes10CommentsPuzzle: no internet with state code 0.0.0.
Damian , Remy , For the last 3 days, the internet has stopped working in the evenings, while the modem displays state code 0.0.0. and no errors whatsoever. I've done all the troubleshooting I can think of but nothing has helped. In the morning, the internet is back. I've tried to run speed tests but the site won't load. Could you all please see if you can figure out what's going on? Thanks!258Views0likes18CommentsSlow internet
I've been having much slower internet for the past week. I tried chat support last week & it just cut off. I keep getting a multipath problem alert with code 14.4.1. I did troubleshooting but I cannot get thru to tech support, which leads me to think this is a system wide issue. Anyone know anything?47Views0likes1CommentOutages Weekly
We have been having outages of service 1-2 times a week for the past 4 weeks, in the afternoon, between 3 and 5 Pm PST . They usually are for about 10 minutes or less. We also have outages about 10 Pm PST 1-2 times a week for about 15-30 mins. Has anyone else had these outages? Is Hughes aware of them ? Thanks259Views0likes14Comments
