We contacted tech support at Hughes. They were able to fix the password on the messed-up email. The tech person had it solved in no more than 10 minutes. It was nothing we did. She couldn't explain exactly what happened. Thanks to Hughes Tech support. Ironically, Hughes support sent an email to the non-accessible email address, telling us to contact tech support for a fix. We never saw their email until we called and they fixed it. Oh well. We are happy right now. Email system asking for password Hello all, Is anybody else having this problem? We have two users on this computer, my spouse and myself. We each have our own email addresses, both on "@hughes.net". I can access my emails, but my spouse is not able to access hers. It keeps asking for her email password. We have entered it about 100 times. We know it is correct as well. When we try to get to her emails directly from Hughes on the Hughesnet home page, we get an error message 403 stating that the password is not recognized. Anybody have any ideas? I know that we should probably look for a new email provider. But we have been using these email addresses for at least 15 years. It would be very difficult to find everybody and change the stored address they have. Thank you. SolvedGround Gateway Location Question Hello, Our new Jupiter 3 installation has this IP Gateway Association State -(Data IPGW - J3SSV8STCIGW0205). Does STC mean Santa Clara for our Gateway location? Weather there has been rough. While download speeds have been pretty good, upload speeds have been all over the map. Very inconsistent. The upload speeds started out OK (2-3 Mbs) a couple weeks ago but have changed in the last few days. Before we start chasing things, we figured weather may be the culprit. Just not sure what all the numbers and letters mean in our Gateway association. Thank you. Re: Wi-Fi Boosters and Extenders Hello, We received the new Mesh Node extender 2 days after ordering it. ($99 added to our account). It is installed and working. Wi-Fi Signal strength outside at our generator is about 20% which is just good enough to keep our generator online. This is the same signal strength we had there with the older, Hughes Wi-Fi booster. Now just need to figure what to do with the old booster. As promised, done with this thread. Thank you. Re: Wi-Fi Boosters and Extenders Hello Remy. Thank you for your response. I have ordered the new Mesh Node extender. Once it arrives, if it works as advertised, I will update the community and close this thread. Take care. Wi-Fi Boosters and Extenders Hello, We just switched from our old Fusion Plan to the Elite plan on the new Jupiter Satellite. This means we went from a HT2000W modem to a HT3000W modem. We have a Hughes WIFI booster the looks like a flat, white plate that worked with the old modem. However, apparently it will not work with the new 3000 modem. Is this true? Do we have to buy a new extender like the Hughes mesh one offered on the "shop" link on HughesNet? Currently, our Wi-Fi signal is not reachable outdoors on the opposite side of our house. Thank you. SolvedRe: Fusion System Multipath Device Problems Hello, Closing this thread. Never able to get Fusion working again at our place. We switched plans and systems to the new Jupiter bird and the Elite plan. Re: Fusion System Multipath Device Problems Hello everyone, Here is the update I promised. Not good news. Our new Multipath adapter arrived and I hooked it up as per the included directions. It could not get past 1% of the activation sequences. It kept saying I needed to check the connections. Eventually it said to contact Tech Support again. Tech Support could not help remotely, and they sent a repairman out. He worked on it for over an hour, with the installer support team from Hughes on the phone. The Hughes support team finally said that the wireless carrier in our area must be having signal problems and that Fusion would not work for us. They recommended we contact Hughes and get Fusion removed from our account. Fusion did work for months here, so maybe something happened to the wireless carrier tower recently. I have left the Multipath device plugged in and on, hoping that it picks up a signal and starts working like it did before. Of course, I will eventually call and get Fusion off our bill. The repairman/installer suggested we cancel Fusion and ask Hughes to change us to Jupiter 3 plans. He said that the new Jupiter 3 service is great and would be a quick and easy install for us. Does anybody have any response to this idea? Any Jupiter 3 users out there yet? Thanks. Re: Fusion System Multipath Device Problems Hello Damian, Thank you for your response. I will contact Level 2 Tech Support and request a new WL3000. I will post an update once I have one. Hopefully we can close this thread at that time. Re: Fusion System Multipath Device Problems Hello folks, It's me again, updating my previous post. After a week with no responses on this site, I contacted HughesNet support. Eventually, I was escalated to level 2 Tech support. The support person there was not really familiar with this problem of the Multipath WL3000 losing the system and wireless signals repeatedly. However, she did seem knowledgeable with the WL3000 overall. In fact, the device lights started blinking while we were talking. She said that as far as she could tell from her side, everything with our system was working fine. However, I had no internet until they stopped blinking. She had me unplug power from both the WL3000 as well as the HT2000W modem. After a few seconds, she had me plug them both back in. After about 5 to 7 minutes, they were both up and running again. She said if the problem repeated itself, they would need to send me a new WL3000. Unfortunately, the issue persists. The two lights on the Multipath device start blinking as if they are re-establishing themselves. We have no internet available until they burn solid again. This happens every few minutes, even when no one is using any online device in the house. I just wanted to share this with this forum. She told me that Hughes has thousands of Fusion systems in use with the WL3000, with no issue like this as far as she knew. Take care.
