I might do that. As far as not being affiliated with them ....... you (meaning mods) have said in the past that Testmy.net is "Optimized for Satellite" internet and only to use them. I really don't get that "optimized" part other than tweaked to work better for satellite and that can be taken in a couple of ways. Just sayin

I think I heard something on TV AD the other day about Directv having NO DISH now .... think it could be this? Val From the Article: Consumer ground-stations will also be small, cheap and easy to install "pizza boxes." Since the signals will be weak, the antennae will have to be outside, but end users will be able to install them because, unlike today's TV and Internet dishes, they will not have to be aimed precisely at a single, geostationary satellite. Modern phase-shift array antennae will follow a satellite as it moves and switch to another in microseconds or a few milliseconds when it goes out of site. Similarly, satellites will be able to transmit a beam that is fixed on one area on the ground as it moves over it.

I live in the country too. We get the deer coming in the yard and watch them and I get a few ugly things too. More than I cared to get. Well I could not find the photo I had of the 81 inch rat snake LOL I killed 2 that size and 2 half that size in 2 days. All together I have killed 6 copperheads in the chicken house at night. I have a printer that is wireless and the tv that connects wirelessly (DISH). I have 2 computers that are hard wired. Looking in the settings I can see that I can disable the 2.5 and 5 GHz channels (wireless) separately. My printer is on the 2.5 and the tv is on the 5. Why does it kick one computer on ethernet off if I uncheck the enabled on the 5 GHz . Is it crosswired or something? Val
