@GabeU@maratsade@BirdDog @Liz @Brooke @MarkJFine    Just want to say thank you all for helping me try and get this working.  I realize you are all are volunteers on this board.  With the exception of Liz I believe.  I am at the point that I do not think there is Anything you all can do to fix it.  I was told it is because of over selling.  I know there is high latency but I had NO ISSUES with any of it until about 3 months before I switched to 5G.  I was on the 4G for over 2 years with no issues.  Dish insisted that if I switch to the new 5G it would fix all the issues.  Doing this started all my contracts over and all prices went up.  I also can't go back to 4G either as it is phased out.  I am pretty sure Dish knew there were still issues on 5G but just wanted to get rid of all the internet side of the dealing with issues.    I do not live in Town so satellite is all I can get.  I could go to another Satellite company but it looks like they are having the same issues as here, so that is not an option either.  I will have to stick it out til you send up another satellite in 2021 and hopefully all will work properly then. What exactly are they able to see from these tests other than the speeds.   In the beginning I did all these tests for you and nothing ever changed.  The only thing I got was we created a ticket for you etc.  Then I got another reply at a later date that it was something else I stated in a prior post.    You can just close this ticket as I am done doing tests that won't have an outcome other than what I was told before.  Will just wait and see what happens in 2021 with more beams.   Hopefully something will come along before then in my area.   Val           ... Ok I asked because my app says one thing and it says another but the upload speeds are very close. FWIW I got my full data allowence back next day so if you did anything at all it didn't work as My videos still buffer at 480.   Data saver on or off doesn't matter.  There is no place that is suitable to do a speed test so why waist my data allowance.   Val ... View more

Your Right!  I actually got on Gen 5 Dec 29th.  I was on Gen 4 prior to that and Dish told me to upgrade to fix the problem and has been bad ever since.  Paying same for less now actually, they suggested the 30 GB plan as I rarely got close to it but just a few times.  I had the 50/50 plan on Gen 4.  Not only I still have same issues but have new 2 year contract with both because of it.  At least I have a ticket in if I can find somewhere else to go.  Pretty much stuck here til something better comes along.  All my research has shown is all Sat companies here are in same boat, big issues with speed that was promised.     ...
