Re: Rebate still has not shown up!
Hello Danielle, Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. I am happy to help with your rebate troubles. If you signed up for Hughesnet within a rebate offer period and have received your first 2 Hughesnet invoices, you should follow the steps here: https://hninfo.us/rebatehelp to submit your rebate. You will not be able to submit a rebate if you have not yet reached 31 days of active service. -Felicia56Views0likes2CommentsRe: Internet sucks
Hello Kat3, Thank you for reaching out. I am happy to help with your inquiry. Please keep in mind that this is satellite internet, and it is largely used by customers who do not have access to cable-based or DSL ISPs. Hughesnet does not compare to cable or cell phone services. This is due to latency. Latency refers to the amount of time it takes a packet of data to travel across a network. With satellite service, that data must travel up to the satellite and back (about 45,000 miles). This does create a greater delay that is not present with common terrestrial-based providers. In normal cable-based or cell tower services, the signal is ground-based which makes these types of services feel faster.273Views0likes0CommentsRe: What are Your Fave Thanksgiving Foods/Recipes? Let's share!
Hey Everyone! I love all the traditional Thanksgiving foods and my favorite is my grandma's stuffing/dressing. As well as, her sweet potatoes, she puts brown sugar, granola, a whole lot of butter, and cranberries in them. However, with her and some others being sick, we need to figure things out on our own. So this year, my hubby decided we are doing Jamaican food for dinner! Oxtail, cabbage mixture, and red beans with rice. OH yeah and fried plantains. I am kind of excited! Hope everyone stays safe and eats lots of food no matter what you are doing! :)7.6KViews2likes1CommentRe: NATIONAL OREO COOKIE DAY!
Gladly! It is three ingredients: Oreos, Cream cheese, and white chocolate. Put one package of Oreos with cream still in, in a blender or food processor until it is super finely chopped, then mix with one package of cream cheese room temp, roll into 1 in balls and freeze for about 45 min. Lastly, roll in melted white chocolate. I just melt in the microwave. Sometimes I like to get fancy with it and drizzle semi-sweet melted chocolate on it. I make them at Christmas time for the neighbors and they always tell me they hide them from the kids because they don't want to share. HAh5.7KViews2likes1Comment
