Thank you for your patience. -Jay Re: Video Data Saver does not work on one app We're happy to help! Yes, you should stream how you normally do when on the call. What dates and times would work best for you? -Jay Re: Video Data Saver does not work on one app Okay, I will reach out and we can schedule a call for the middle of next week. -Jay Re: Video Data Saver does not work on one app Hello lakeland, I apologize for the delayed response, I was out of the office. Is your dish cleared enough to troubleshoot? -Jay Re: HughesNet Mobile not updating on iOS Oh, I'm sorry about that! I'll make sure they're aware and keep you updated. -Jay Re: HughesNet Mobile not updating on iOS Thank you for your patience on this. Just heard back from the developers who have recommended uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Have you already given that a try? Thanks, Jay Re: Info on New Hughes Service Hello ecoalex2, Please be on the lookout for a private message from us today. To answer your previous questions: #1 - Existing customers can upgrade their current account to the new Hughesnet service by calling the regular support line. You do not need to cancel and create a new account. #2 - Yes, since there is a new radio transmitter and modem which need to be installed, an installation would be required. #3 - $79.99/mo without enrolling in ACH (autopay) Additionally, the modem lease fee is $14.99 and when the technician comes on site to upgrade existing customers, they will take with them any old equipment that won't be needed. Thanks, Jay Re: HughesNet Mobile not updating on iOS Hey maratsade, I'm jumping in for Amanda here. Do you happen to recall the version of the mobile app you were on when you tried to update? -Jay Re: Info on New Hughes Service Hello ecoalex2, No, you do not need to cancel your account to upgrade to The new HughesNet. Upgrading does require a technician to install your new equipment and repoint the dish, but you do not need a new dish. There is an upgrade cost for this visit. The select plan is $74.99 before any taxes or other fees (such as the lease fee). We will look into the concerns raised about the miscommunication from our Customer Care and sales representatives. Thank you! Jay Re: New community look?? Thanks for the feedback! We will look into making all the tiers act the same when showing unread and read. -Jay
