Apparently, they were able to manually enter receipt of the modem. I, now, have a credit on my account... Charged for equipmen I returned a month ago. My automatic payment went through this morning, with an extra charge of $125 for unreturned equipment fees. The tracking on the returned modem showed delivered to HughesNet a month ago. I don't have the tracking number, anymore, but I know HughesNet has the ability to look it up. They paid for the UPS return label. I can't afford this and I don't appreciate HugehsNet's incompetence. I called about this shortly after it was elivered to HughesNet, because I got an email stating it had not been received. I was told not to worry about it. SolvedRe: Losing internet access every night Thanks. Glad to say it was still on this morning, too. Re: Losing internet access every night Day 9. I woke up this morning and found my internet acces still on!! No state codes to report. Maybe it's going to act right. Re: Losing internet access every night Okay. Tomorrow morning I'll check the codes. And, I'll do it in this thread, since the other had all previous information deleted. Re: Losing internet access every night Okay. Tomorrow morning I'll check the codes. Re: Losing internet access every night I am aware of all the functions of the modem and had even re-installed the former modem manually. Troubleshooting is not what I need. There is an issue with the dish that needs repaired. Your questions were going to lead to your quoting FAP, which I already stated is not the issue. I started a new thread, because Liz sending a new modem seemed to be a solve to the problem in this one. In the new thread, I clarified my current problem. Re: Losing internet access every night I've had HN for 5 years and the last 4 have been terrible. speeds as low as .6Mbps, intermittent signal, terrible phone support, the list goes on. Takes up to 15 minutes to load the poker site I play regularly. Sometimes, it doesn't even load pictures or full Ebay pages. I'm disabled and sell on Ebay to make a few hundred a month. Well, up until March. Since then, I've made less than HN costs every month. Re: Losing internet access every night About a mile out of town, no wilderness. He won't have any problem. Sucks that I live about half mile from reach of fiber optic. Only choice I have is this. Re: Losing internet access every nightYeah, I hope so, too. Really don't like having to mess with the modem every morning. Hate having a tech guy out here, but seems like it has to be done.
