Really bad this one. Again, not asking for help only saying it is a problem for many. I've adjusted my large file download and streaming time, many can't. You're not alone. I may get in trouble and lose "Champion" badge but think it may be "growing pains" with the new satellite coming online. My belief is they may be offloading traffic while upgrading ground infrastructure to support the new satellite. Like highway construction. I'm really not an insider or employee. Just a customer like everyone else. I do have a pretty good understanding how satellite internet works though. This is pretty typical for 3-4 hours prime time lately. Personally I can live with it for awhile if means better service down the road. I can still browse fine, just can't download files or stream much. ... View more

I'm picturing a lot of techs and other trades people doing a LOT of work right now on the ground preparing for Gen 5. Month or so ago my speed went to total doo doo day and night when they switched my outroute. Again, would like to think maybe a new path for the new satellite they were testing out. Went back to normal once they put me back to previous outroute. Has declined the last few weeks again which I can't help but think it has to do with traffic diversion while they upgrade. On Jupiter 1 satellite I can stream at that speed on low def Netflix. Sure, takes a few to load but really no buffering once it catches up. Also having those low speeds at night lately. My beam isn't overloaded too bad that I'm aware of. Kinda wondering if they're messing with things getting ready for the new satellite. Maybe redirecting traffic to fewer servers and outroutes while they upgrade facilities? Would like to think that could be a reason, I can live with that short term. ... View more

Agree Reggie, forgot to add we get free debit cards also. A checking account generally costs nothing for people 55+ years old or those on SS and other compensation. I'm probably very old school but feel safer with my money in a bank that is FDIC insured as I'll never have a hundred grand that needs covered anyway. Being old also, my wife and I get free checking at our local small regional bank. Is nice to be able to write a check every so often where we live as believe it or not some folks here still want cash or a check, no way to process a card. I don't like carrying lots of cash and being able to write a check does come in handy. I do totally understand where you're coming from Gabe and hope there is a way they can at least accept cards that are loaded every month from SS, SSI or other government agencies. ... View more

Ok funny but not really. Have they seriously gone off the rails? I support them when a logical reason to. I see no logic in asking for the LAN cable to be returned. Heck, why not start asking for the dish to be returned? It is worth  a lot more than the stupid cable. It weighs nothing for shipping charges. Really does seem like a small thing to negate returning all the equipment required. Just what it looks like. Maybe the screws and cable connectors next? What about the grounding block?
