Can you elaborate on "preview posts or PMs"? And try uploading images now. Still trying to locate user galleries.

Before the update, you were able to click a "Preview" button which showed how the post would look once posted. I think the button was located at the top of the message. You could toggle between Preview and Edit. That hasn't been available since the update. I found the preview option very helpful.
I just realised that the HTML button is gone too, so I wouldn't be able to edit the HTML. That was very helpful sometimes.

Gotcha, thanks for the detail. I should be able to fix HTML feature rather quickly.
Edit: Just confirmed that replies don't have the "source code" option to flip back and forth, but making a new post does. You should see it by expanding the toolbar and clicking the <> bracket icon.
I am placing a feature request to add it to the reply toolbar. Note that while you don't see the option, your html specifications (ie if you paste into your reply with html formatting), it should post as expected.
