When you say HughesNet homepage, are you referring to one of the following?
https://my.hughesnet.com/en/overview

All three are are working for me.

I too wonder why we can't get our homepage of
https://myhughesnet.hughesnet.com/
I do get the "overview" page which is irritating and useless.
I has been happening for at least 2 days now.
Thanks for any assistance.

Trying to get to your link always redirects to https://my.hughesnet.com/en/overview. They may have changed something.

I don't believe that page exists anymore, as it's always redirecting to https://my.hughesnet.com/en/overview
You can always click on something on the blue ribbon if you need to go to a specific section (billing, usage, etc.)

That's what I'm seeing too. I don't think that other page was used very much by people. The only time I ever went to it was by default, when I'd sign out of another HN page and it would redirect to that home page with the news, weather and all the other stuff on it. It probably wasn't worth the cost of keeping it going, especially with all of the other pages just like it on the net.

Thanks for responding and trying to access the webpage of "home". I almost have to believe that there is a "setting", or something, that is doing this as we get the "homepage" on my Wife's laptop. I have not tried any other computers, yet. Will continue looking, poking and hoping. Thanks again.

I'd try the following...
1. Shut down all devices that connect to your HughesNet service. Make sure they're actually off and not just in standby.
2. If you use your own router, shut that off.
3. Unplug the HughesNet modem. Leave it unplugged for at least a minute, then plug it back in.
4. After waiting for at least three minutes to give the HughesNet modem time to be fully back up and ready, turn back on your router (if you use one), then wait a few minutes to ensure it is fully back up and ready as well.
5. Turn your device(s) back on and try to access the website.
It's possible that it's a DNS issue, and those steps should clear DNS entries from your network and devices.
Edit: I should add that it's possible that you're wife's computer is still able to see the old page because of cookies or something. I don't mean to intimate that this procedure will make all of your devices be able to see the old page, but rather make them all the same.
Time marches on and things change, but like nearly any other time pages change, you'll eventually get used to it.

Thanks for testing, and please report back. It can help others facing the same issue.

Yes, mine has changed too. I no longer see the original home page with news videos, etc. Has been gone for over a week, almost two weeks. Plus I am receiving a security/privacy warning as of yesterday & warned not to proceed. Tech. said they are working on things. Must use myhughes.net.com/en/overview until they figure out if hacked or whatever is going on. I can no longer access home.myhughes.net.com

The security issue is just a certificate expiring. Sometimes the replacement doesn't happen before the old one expires.
You are correct in being suspicious of whenever this happens, but it is most likely not malicious in this case.
