Streaming Video Resolution

Just had HughesNet installed, and I'm not impressed with the quality of streaming videos. I guess I'm biased coming from fiber and 4K streaming. 

 

I'm looking to see if anyone has any recommendations for improving the quality? I did see a setting for Video Quality, but it didn't seem to improve the resolution.

I get that its satellite and the quality will be degraded but I'm looking at the resolution from the 1980's.

    I don't know that there is anything you can do, really, since the latency affects the resolution.  I used PlayOn Cloud and download what I want to watch. Then I have no issues.
