Does anyone know how to get this junk **bleep** to show up as the 5g instead of this 2 g bs that don’t work!!!

1.  This isn't a support section.

2.  Please watch the language.

3.  Only devices that can utilize the 5GHz band will show the 5GHz WiFi as a connection option.  Many don't support it.

Dave, if it doesn't show, it's because the device you're using doesn't have the capability to detect the 5Ghz radio, like @GabeU  said.
