Activation fee for Gen4 to Gen5 upgrade on J1? Does the upgrade require a tech visit?

When upgrading from Gen4 to Gen5 on the J1, which is basically a modem changeout (at home, anyway), is there an activation fee, or does the new plan just take over with the new plan and old plan fees prorated?

Also, even though it's only a modem changeout when staying on J1, does that modem changeout require a tech visit or is this something the homeowner can do?

I can't really answer the activation fees... I know the lease fee is higher since it's a wifi enabled modem ($5 more per month).  Home owners can easily install the HT2000W and get it registered if they currently have Jupiter One service with an HT1100/1000 and wish to stay on Jupiter One.  It's no more difficult than when the upgrade from the HT1000 to HT1100 occured.
