What is the purpose of the USB port on the HugheNet HT2000W?

Enquiring minds want to know...

    A wise man once told me, "to be honest it really doesn't do anything more than charge your phone at this point".  In that, Hughes has plans for the USB port, and probably uses it at some point, but it's not a customer feature just yet.
