Eero Network vs HT2000W Settings

I am a newbie on Hughes, moving Eero routers to Hughes.  A complete novice and apologizing profusely ahead of time. Eero seems a bit baffled. The HT2000W modem does not have a "bridge" capability that Eero likes. I have read about turning off other "network" capability for other network extenders but that's like a chick trying to read advanced calculus. I can get in the modem settings but have learned not to fiddle lest I ruin everything. Does anyone here HAVE Eero and altered the settings of this modem? I am older woman and not savvy. Have searched quite a bit before asking. My previous internet in this rural region was a single line DSL far from it's origin and was pathetic but this is not much better. Eero improved THAT coverage in the home. Eero seems not much help currently though harder to judge.  Thank you.

I really hope you didn't mean that to be as misogynistic as it sounds.
