Magic Jack phone

Does anyone use a Magic Jack phonewith the Gen5?

Typically  third-party  VoIP  products don't work well with a satellite  connection  due to the high latency.

I find this a bit misleading and way too general. Third party VoIP doesn't work well over satellite more often than it does.

Yeah, way too general... it's trying to cover what I consider three different things... Netflix is just a streaming service, where as Skype can be just audio, or audio/video, and even remote control of computers, and Voip is just audio...  Some of that stuff works great, while other stuff may not...
