Contract question

I've been a HN customer since 2010. About three months ago I upgraded my service to Gen4 , going from HN9000 modem to the HN1100.

Did this upgrade commit me to another two year contract? The reason I'm asking is that land based service may be available before sooner than two years. I would hate to pay an ETF after this long with Hughesnet.

Thanks,

Bobby

Sorry to say, it did.  😞

The ETF does decrease monthly. If a new service is available near the end of the two years the ETF is rather small. In many cases the reduced cost of the ground based service will offset any remaining ETF.

I thought as much, but wanted verification. It won't probably happen soon anyway. Everything is so close but yet SO far away. Oh well!!
