But around 5 pm..it goes back down to 0 :( Re: Poor mbps every night And yes..it has always been a problem in the evening..from 5 pm on..I mean if I even had connection at 2 mbps..things would work. Re: Poor mbps every night Yep. It worked ok for a while. Now this morning I am connected at 1 mbps. How am I supposed to download..update..during free hours? For about a month..I would be connected at anywhere from 10 to 20 mbps..but not any longer. Just very frustrated that it takes this much work to stream anything. Poor mbps every night Every night when I try to connect my Roku I have 0 mbps connection. And most days if I have 1 mpbs I am lucky. I am sick and tired of this crap internet..but again have no choice because of where I live. See attached screen shots.. and no..I am not going to run speedtest because it always seems to be fine..but as you can see..it is not. Too bad I pay outrageous pricing for 50 gb I can never use at night for streaming ..blah blah all the people are connected at night...whatever ..complaining done for now! SolvedRe: Streaming Video Constant BufferingI had the same problem..which I have solved..kind of! I installed a separate wifi router..and turned off wifi in the Hughes modem. I can now stream amazon prime through my smart tv and through Roku. Amazon prime still does not work with the Amazon firestick tho.Re: Connecting to wifi on Gen 5 Ht2000w modem I had written the password down incorrectly! My eyes were not working this morning. I am connected! Connecting to wifi on Gen 5 Ht2000w modem Just had the new Gen 5 router installed yesterday. The technician chose to just connect my other wifi router to the new modem. I was trying to access the wifi on the gen5 router from my ipad, but it will not let me connect. It says not available. Should i just forget trying to connect? Or is there something else i should try. Just wanted to see if it was faster. I have my wifi router and an extender to which i am connected right now. Yes the speeds are faster, but being a geek i wanted to see if the new gen5 was faster! Solved
