I wasn't really looking to upgrade my account with optional services, I was just going through the portal and looking at things while they were talking on the phone with me and when I happened to click Hughes Net voice, all of a sudden I was ineligible for any type of upgraded services, this only happened after my benefits were illegally transferred5.8KViews0likes4CommentsUnable to upgrade or apply EBB benefits
So I cannot see my bill, I don't know why there is a hold on my account, but customer service is receiving an account error that won't allow my EBB benefits to be reapplied after over a week of fixing issues with USAC where my benefits were transferred without permission. On top of that when looking at optional services my account tells me I am not eligible for them and to contact customer support for more details, however they don't have any. My EBB benefits were transferred without my consent. I then had to reapply for the EBB program. Every time I have called Hughesnet, this is what they have told me I had to do in order to get my account fixed and my discount reapplied, now it's looking like Hughesnet made me do all of this for basically nothing. Hi, so it seems assurance wireless (who I get my free cellphone through) illegally put in a transfer of benefits assuming they had control of my ebb program benefits for whatever reason. I got an email on Nov 13th saying my benefits were being transferred and services (I have not asked for this) I called, thought I had everything fixed and was told my benefits would not end with Hughesnet. Well, I received a letter dated the 23rd that my benefits were being transferred and my services would be shut off. I'm confused. Live chat won't help me saying they aren't equipped to do so. I'm upset because supposedly this was taken care of. Now it isn't. I did not give permission for this. I do not want this. I call and they say they don't see it reflecting on my account.
