Your signal level is only 50. You need to call in to support and get a tech out to repoint dish. It might be working now.. But will go out again..

No they see the site history.. I can see it when I get a repair order.. But if you unplug the modem everynight. Then no there will not be a site history. It takes 24 hours for a site history to start. Then you can look back up to a year..

When Damian runs his tests it is the OVT test. When the tech goes out there he runs it from his phone. It tells us what the signal level is. And the average at that exact time in your area. So we now if the signal level is off. No need to go up if you now it is good. Damian needs your speed tests to show if there is a problem. If there is he will launch a investigation.. Right now it is just you saying it isn't right.. It could be your computer causing the issue.. Run the speed tests...

Bird dog meters do not work on Hughesnet systens for pointing a dish. Superbuddy does make one.. But they are not has acurate has or own meters. The rep can tell from running there tests if the dish is out of alignment.. It is called a OVT. Test And I am sure they have already run that for you.. That is why they need you to do tthese tests..

If you where installed more then 2 years ago. That means you are on Gen 4 not Gen5. So there is no video data saver. So it is sending it in 1080p Or it could be in 2080p. Depending on the movie.. Most cell service send all movies over 480P because the screens are so small.. B

Up at the very top it says. HughesNet Support Community Look up the word community. All these people try to do is help.. They don't get paid and they don't have to do it. The moderators have other jobs and can not be on here 24 hours a day. Give them a break.. Give everybody here a break and chill out...

@southernsierra Sorry, I have hooked up Hughesnet to people that have ATT and comcast.. The Hughesnet is the backup to there backup. More people have backup then you would think..LOL I have two at my house.

All of us Hughesnet techs are sub contractors. All HNS can do is set up the appointment.. For me.. I always call the day before. and give the 3 hour window. Then keep the customer informed if for any reason I am running late.. I also call when I'm about 30 minutes out..

And the.90 dishes are not nation wide yet.. A lot of dealers can not even get the dishes .. I work in a couple of beams and for two dealers.. One of them is on the .90 dishes and one is not.. And he can not even get them.. It doesn't make a huge deference in the SQF.

IIt is a short.. That is what the modems do when there is a short.. Could be in the radio our the coax. More then likely the radio..

What I always suggest to people is. Get Dish or DTV and just get the basic cheapest package they offer. Then you can stream other stuff..

I carry a can of Wasp Freeze in the truck. Every single old 7000 system I have taken down for upgrades has a hive inside the cover that was over the radio.. Glad I don't run into those to often.

If you have a Iphone.. SATOOLZ for Hughes is a good one.. But they do not make it for android.. If I was you.. I would put in a order for a upgrade to Gen5.. Have a installer come out and check it out for you.. Couldn't hurt..
