Problem with phone/voice-garbled voice output
Greetings. I am new to this voice service from HughesNet and just installed it a couple of days ago. The Incoming caller sounds clear but my voice is garbled. I called in to complain about this so there should be a work order in place. I thought I would try this user site as well. It’s almost like the ATA does not translate my voice Properly. Please help since the service in currently unusable.Solved12KViews0likes13CommentsDropping Data yet again
I have spend/wasted hours of my time fighting with Hughes. Tonight I am beyond frustrated. So simple break down: 1. Internet and phone work ok for about a month after the tech came and fixed the dish. 2. Phone starts losing connection. 3. Call TS they said reset modem. 4. Reset modem(very Hot) 5. Phone and internet come back online. 6. 3 days later system drops calls and signal becomes choppy. 7. Buy data to reinstall OSX and system stalls. 8. Call TS rep can not understand me, he states “I’m really sorry sir it sounds like your underwater!” And then after 5 minutes of broken conversation the phone disconnected. 9. I’m sick of HN! I’ve been fighting almost a year!Solved7.7KViews0likes4CommentsHUGHESNET VOICE: BEST CORDLESS PHONE SYSTEMS TO USE?
I've just begun subscribing to HughesNet Voice and am curious to know if any fellow subscribers to the service who have a home office setup can recommend a good cordless phone set that most ideally integrates with the satellite-based phone environment. The ideal configuration would be a wireless base station that is simply a base station for multiple phones, but without a handset of its own and to which wireless handsets or wireless office speakerphones in various numbers and types can be added. AFAIK nearly all current phone sets consist of a base station with its own receiver plus a fixed number of simple handsets which limit options for additions, especially of things like cordless speakerphones, and usuallyto accessories that are of the same make and brand as the base station. Anyone in the know have any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks in advance.6KViews0likes1CommentTechnical Help
We have several HughesNet accounts for our business, one in Missouri, [edited forprivacy], Gen5. It has worked perfectly, along with the phone for several months, since originally installed. However, following the outage yesterday afternoon, the system has been intermittent. Ouron-site person talked to Hughes technical support yesterday, and at thetime the agent looked at the system, it was working, so he couldn't do anything. Today, we worked with Hughes technical support to re-register the modem, but it still won't stay connectedto the Internet, and phone calls using the ATA are not possible for more than a minute or so. It is hard to believe a site visit is required, since the system has worked so perfectly up to now, and cause & effect would say that the problem is tied to the outage and not an issue at the site. We have signal stringth in the low 100s, so antenna pointing doesn't seem to be an issue. We need this system very badly to keep our business operating. Thank you.Solved3.7KViews0likes2Commentsphone not working. rings, but nothing after that

My employer has a phone system for all remote employees called Communicator which uses a softphone VoIP feature for outgoing and incoming calls using a number based at their HQ. My Outgoing voice signal is illegible buzzing sounds and other noises. I have the Hughes voice service but as far as I can tell, the only calling I can do is by plugging a traditional phone into ATA jack. Is this the only way to utilize the voice service or am I missing a simple concept or installation procedure?577Views0likes0Comments
